What wook.fm is

A 24/7 virtual forest rave. You make a raver, you stand on a dance floor with other people, music plays, and you send each other small virtual gifts. Everything on the floor is a drawing. Nothing here is real, purchasable, or obtainable.

Age

18+. The floor depicts a nightlife environment with nightlife themes. Don't use wook.fm if you're under 18. We ask on entry; we can't verify it, and we're not pretending otherwise.

The gift rail — read this part

Some virtual gifts are named after recreational drugs (💊 molly, 🌈 acid, 🍄 shrooms). They are pixel animations that tint the screen and cost virtual "vibes." They are inert. Specifically:

• They are not instructions, dosing information, sourcing, or encouragement. Nothing in this product describes how to obtain or take any substance, and nothing ever will.
• Sending one changes some colours for roughly 15–22 seconds and adds a line to a chat feed.
• The code that implements them carries this rule in writing — src/app/trip-effects.js and src/logic/tripsim.js both state that they control presentation only and contain no real-world substance guidance. That constraint is a product rule, not a comment.
• SafetyBot replies to gifts in this category with harm-reduction lines. It is not decoration and must not be removed or silenced.
• The 🧪 test kit and 🚑 Narcan gifts exist deliberately and are priced low. Narcan sends 100% of its charity split to End Overdose. Harm reduction is part of the joke's punchline, not an afterthought to it.

If this framing isn't for you, that's completely fair — the site isn't for everyone.

Chat rules

Live chat is moderated by filter and rate limit (3 messages per window, 140 characters). Beyond that, don't:

• harass, threaten, sexualise, or pile onto anyone
• post hate speech targeting who someone is
• post sexual content involving minors, ever — this is the one rule with no discussion attached
• share anyone's personal information, yours or someone else's
• advertise, sell, solicit, or spam
• give real-world sourcing, dosing, or acquisition advice for any drug — the bit stays a bit
• impersonate staff, DJs, or other ravers

Chat has automated filtering and rate limits. Additional moderation tools are still being developed. See Reporting below to raise a concern.

Music

Tracks stream through SoundCloud's official widget and play from their platform. We rotate a curated catalog and credit the artist on the booth and in the now-playing bar. Artists: if your track is in rotation and you want it out, tell us and it comes out immediately — no argument, no process.

Money

"Vibes" are a virtual currency with no cash value, no exchange rate, and no withdrawal. Charity splits shown on gifts are real commitments and are posted publicly. If a gift says a share goes to End Overdose, it goes.

Privacy

Guest sessions are name-only. We store a display name, a session cookie, your avatar's appearance, your wallet, and your chat lines. We don't ask for an email, we don't run ads, and we don't sell anything to anyone. Chat is retained to a rolling cap (500 lines) and is visible to everyone on the floor — treat it as public, because it is.

Reporting

Tell an admin in chat. Anything involving a minor, a credible threat, or someone's safety goes to the top of the queue ahead of everything else.

Changes

This policy changes as the site does. It lives in the repo, so its history is public.
